PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT THEIR
NEIGHBORHOODS

Your work as a group will bring recognition from the City Council that you have met the goals for becoming article image a Neighborhood Council. The group will be officially added to the list of Councils. Your neighborhood benefits because you and your neighbors have shown that you care.

The Browne's Addition Neighborhood is represented by Councilman Michael Allen and Councilman Richard Rush and is located in City Council District #2. Any citizen may participate in the Neighborhood Council and we strongly encourage you to attend our Neighborhood Council Meetings. Steve Hart is the current Chair of the Browne's Addition Neighborhood Council and the meetings are the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Museum of Arts and Culture. The purpose of the Browne's Addition Neighborhood Council is to improve and preserve the quality of life in the Browne's Addition Neighborhood through the following actions:

* Review and recommend actions, policies, or plans to the Community Assembly, City Boards and Commissions, City Agencies and Staff, on matters affecting the Browne's Addition Neighborhood

* Assist City Agencies in determining priority needs for the neighborhood

* Review items for inclusion in the City budget that impact Browne's Addition

* Undertake or manage projects in concert with other agencies that benefit Browne's Addition.
